A Collaborative Sound Sanctuary
Rewrite Your Story and Rise with Kristen and Special Guest Katie Boudreaux
Focus: Healing After Trauma, Illness, and Divorce
Healing is a journey, and today you are invited to change your story with full permission. Join Kristen Harper and special guest Katie Boudreaux for a deeper, more immersive sound bath experience.
We often carry burdens from life-altering events—the echoes of trauma, the exhaustion of illness, or the transition of divorce—that we no longer need to hold onto. This collaborative session offers you the space to narrate a new story and a new song. While Kristen’s soundscape of crystal bowls and the rhythmic washing of the Ocean Drum helps you discover more peace around your heavy burdens, Katie will be offering additional support in your cozy space to optimize your rest.
This is an invitational and optional experience where Katie provides extra blankets, bolsters, and props for your nest, with the option for gentle, supportive light touch. Together, we will use the resonance of the Crystal Pyramid and Koshi Chimes as a vibrational anchor to release old thought patterns and anchor your vibrations. Kristen's guided meditation is also inspired by Sara Blondin's "Rewrite Your Narrative" from Insight Timer.
Come and be nurtured in a space where safety and empowerment come first.
This is a purely receptive experience focused on emotional healing and empowerment.
Reclaim your power and remember:
I am not what happened to me; I am the vastness in which it occurred.— Eckhart Tolle
NOTE: Although sound baths are considered safe and effective practices, it is always recommended to consult with your physician if you have metal implants, plates, heart conditions, defibrillators, cochlear implants, history of seizures, or have any questions about your safe participation in sound bathing experiences.

Come end your weekend and start your week with a deep embodied reset. This isn't a work out, it's a work IN.
As the sun sets, we'll gather immersed in candlelight for a 90 minute mini-retreat to gently step our energy and our nervous system down into a deep state of ease for the week ahead. This session will move through four levels of energy movement and release:
- 10 - 15 minutes of standing stretches, folds and shaking out the burdens of the week
- 10 - 15 minutes of Yin, to shift into holding stillness, and being with sensation
- 45 minutes of supported restorative poses to find softness and release in our body
- 10 - 15 minutes of yoga Nidra or conscious sleep for profound relaxation
With a parting gift, you will then leave your props where they are and tenderly head out in silence.
Essential oils aromatherapy, gentle healing touch, and guided meditations on the Yamas and Niyamas will be offered as an invitation to deepen the experience.
May - Asteya (Not Taking More Than Needed) Receiving support and releasing the habit of doing everything alone.
June — Brahmacharya (Balanced Use of Energy) Learning to manage light, activity, and stimulation without depletion.
July — Aparigraha (Non-Grasping) Cooling excess effort, expectation, and attachment to outcomes.
Dates: Last Sundays in May, June and July
Time: 7 - 8:30 pm
Location: Hippie Soul Yoga Studio
Address: 7646 McLaughlin Road

There is a stillness deep within you that remains untouched by the busyness of life. It is a soft, steady light, just waiting for you to remember it is there.
If you have been feeling broken and aching, come and rest. Kristen Harper and Katie Boudreaux invite you to a collaborative journey of deep restoration. Through the nurturing song of pure quartz crystal, Himalayan and Tibetan bowls, and the heartbeat of the drum, we will practice the art of melting into our safe haven.
This is a purely receptive experience. There is no traditional yoga movement or "workout" involved. You will be fully supported by bolsters, blankets, and pillows, with the option for gentle, supportive touch and aromatherapy to deepen your relaxation. We will return to the heart-centered truth that you are safe, you are loved, and you are already home.
Our Invitation
In many of our upcoming journeys, I am delighted to be joined by Katie Boudreaux, RYT-200, as we harmonize sound healing, guided imagery, and centering breathwork into a single, nurturing experience. Together, we provide a safe and steady container designed to hold and hear you, creating a soft landing place where your spirit can rest and your heart can return to its own inner refuge.
About Katie Boudreaux, RYT-200
A graduate of the Colorado School of Yoga with a professional background in healthcare, Katie brings a nurturing, trauma-sensitive approach to our sanctuary. She believes the mat is a place of steadiness and clarity amid the noise of life. Katie interlaces guidance in breathing and supported serenity throughout our time together, ensuring you feel safely cradled in both sound and stillness.
Katie’s Yogic Approach
Katie creates an inviting atmosphere of openness and choice by guiding participants through anchoring breathwork and gentle, elective posture shifts. Her grounded presence and spacious pacing honor each individual's rhythm, allowing the sound and stillness to unfold naturally in a settled, supportive environment.
Precaution Note: To make sure your journey is as comfortable and supportive as possible, please let Kristen know if you are within your first trimester of pregnancy, have a pacemaker, epilepsy (specifically musicogenic or sound-sensitive epilepsy), or medical metal implants. If you use hearing aids or cochlear implants, we also invite you to check in with Kristen so she can discuss how to best manage the volume and vibration for your comfort. Because sound is a physical vibration, we want to ensure we tailor the experience perfectly for you. As always, if you have any health concerns, a quick chat with your doctor is a great way to prepare for your session.

🌈Join us for a heart-centered and inclusive morning practice that invites you to pause, soften, and reclaim the healing power of rest. The Right to Rest is a gentle, all-levels yoga and meditation class offered as part of Pikes Peak Pride. Taught by Tracey Garcia of Hippie Soul Yoga, this class is designed especially for LGBTQIA+ folks and allies who are ready to slow down, tune in, and nurture themselves with tenderness.
Where our Saturday yoga practice celebrates with high energy, this Sunday morning yoga practice offers a different kind of liberation: one rooted in stillness, self-love, and the radical idea that you don’t need to earn your rest. Rest is resistance. Self-love is reclamation. And this hour is your sanctuary. When we have important work to do, rest becomes even more crucial.
Expect breath-led movement, longer stretches, and a closing guided meditation rooted in self-acceptance and inner peace - all held in a supportive, affirming space where every identity is seen and honored.
"Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation."
— Audre Lorde
What to Bring: A yoga mat, blanket or towel, and anything that helps you feel supported. No experience needed, just bring yourself as you are.
Let’s gather in community and in Pride to care for ourselves with tenderness. Then, after the yoga practice, stay for the Pikes Peak Pride Parade! Rest and celebrate - the recipe for a beautiful Sunday at Pride!

June Member Event
Step into a practice rooted in purpose, connection, and gentle expansion.
Inspired by the wisdom of the bee, this unique yoga experience invites you to slow down, move with intention, and reconnect to your natural rhythm of growth. Bees remind us that we are not meant to do life alone, they thrive in community, create sweetness from effort, and trust their role within something greater.
In this nourishing, sensory-rich class, you’ll be guided through a grounding gentle flow, calming breath work inspired by the soft hum of a bee hive, aromatherapy with light floral and honeyed scents to awaken the senses and deepen relaxation, and a closing ritual to integrate intention and invite in more sweetness.
This 75 minute class is all levels and trauma informed. It's designed to be an immersive experience designed to soothe your nervous system, reconnect you to your body, and gently remind you that you belong. Come as you are. Leave feeling grounded, connected, and awakened to what is ready to grow within you.

The pelvic floor consists of a hammock of muscles that physically support the bladder and intestines, and the uterus in women. These muscles control urinary, GI, and sexual functioning. There are numerous natural factors that lead to a weakened pelvic floor,
such as age, abdominopelvic surgeries, and excessive trauma to or straining of the pelvic floor (respectively obesity & constipation).
Generally, pelvic floor dysfunction (from a weakening pelvic floor) results in urinary or GI incontinence, pelvic region pain, sexual dysfunction, and can be compounded due to overlapping factors. Over 1⁄3 of women have reported having negative side effects of a weakened pelvic floor, most commonly reported are urinary incontinence and recurring UTIs. Elderly persons over 70 have a higher probability of experiencing pelvic organ prolapse, as well as fecal incontinence (both genders relatively equally).
This yoga practice is designed to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles using familiar yoga poses and props (note: if you have your own yoga ball, please bring it!). This practice is open to anyone with a pelvic floor 🙂and may contain mature content.
