Take a deeper dive into the art of teaching Yin Yoga. Yin Foundations

Explore the roots and history of Yin Yoga, its journey to the West, and why this slow, meditative practice has become so widely embraced.

Five Elements Theory & Yin–Yang

Gain an introduction to TCM, the Five Elements, and how they relate to Yin Yoga—deepening your understanding of energy, balance, and the body–mind connection.

Candlelight Restorative Rest.png

Come and find rest.

Join us for a new series of sacred pauses at the end of your month in a dedicated space to release, renew, and return to yourself. This monthly evening restorative yoga practice with quarterly pricing will help you step off the treadmill of doing and into the sanctuary of being. Surrounded by the gentle glow of candlelight, you'll be guided through deeply restful poses held for extended periods, allowing your body to soften, your mind to quiet, and your nervous system to fully reset.

This is not a workout, it's a work-in. Through the support of bolsters, blankets, and blocks, your body will be completely held in each pose, creating the conditions for profound relaxation and restoration. You'll experience a slow, gentle "warm up to cool down" series of seated stretches followed by gentle, supportive poses held for 5 -15 minutes each.

This special series will also include:

Aromatherapy with carefully selected essential oils to deepen relaxation.

Optional supportive touch to release tension and enhance presence.

Guided meditation designed to help you connect within.

If you're new to restorative yoga, come and experience this nourishing, beneficial practice that:

Activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest)

Reduces stress, anxiety, and mental fatigue

Improves sleep quality

Enhances body awareness and mindfulness

Creates space for emotional processing and release

Restores energy and vitality

Cultivates deep inner peace

$30 per session or $75 to attend all three months.

All levels welcome. No yoga experience necessary. Come as you are whether tired, wired, or simply seeking sanctuary. Leave feeling grounded, spacious, and restored.

Reserve your space and gift yourself this monthly ritual of rest and renewal.

From Winter Stillness to Spring Stability.png

This a special member event complimentary for our unlimited members. Thank you for your continued membership!

We don’t leap out of winter, rather we stabilize, then rise.

As we emerge out of winter and into spring, this month’s member event is about building stability first, so that your body and your nervous system feel safe enough to soften into restorative rest. In nature, early spring is about rooting, not blooming.

We’ll begin with a slow awakening flow with long, intentional holds designed to gently build muscular endurance and stability - an emphasis on moving slowly and listening to your body rather than pushing past it. From this place of grounded strength, the practice gradually shifts toward softening and release. We will end with a 30 minute restorative yoga practice to soften and refresh your nervous system.

Props, modifications, and invitations for rest will be encouraged throughout.

This practice welcomes all bodies and experience levels. Whether you’re looking to build strength in a mindful way, reconnect with your breath, or simply slow down and let go, this practice offers space to meet yourself with care, honoring both effort and ease.

The Golden Inhale.png

A Somatic Sound Immersion for Vitality

Experience the restorative power of sound. As the seasons shift, you are invited to Hippie Soul Yoga for an immersive sound bath journey designed to help you transition out of winter's stillness. This is a space to move from the long "exhale" of hibernation into the vibrant energy of spring, a dedicated hour to recharge your golden fire.

Using the resonant frequencies of crystal, Himalayan, and Tibetan singing bowls, we will focus on the Solar Plexus (the "inner sun"), clearing away mental fog and replenishing your physical and emotional vitality.

DESCRIPTION:

As we transition out of the long winter months, our bodies and spirits often feel the lingering "exhale" of hibernation—a sense of being quiet, stagnant, or depleted. On Sunday, March 29th, we align ourselves with the turning of the season. As the earth begins its Great Inhale, we gather at Hippie Soul Yoga to recharge our golden fire.

This is a sound bath event experience focused on the Solar Plexus, your internal "sun" and the seat of your personal power. Unlike sessions focused on letting go, this journey is about filling the vessel. It is a space to drink in the frequency of vitality and wake up the radiant energy required to bloom into spring.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Somatic Arrival: We begin with a guided meditation to soften the "thawing" ground of the body, moving from winter’s constriction into a state of supple receptivity.

Sound Medicine: Experience a deep immersion into the healing frequencies of crystal bowls (tuned to the frequency of Note E), specifically chosen to harmonize the Solar Plexus and spark the life-force within.

Experience the deep harmony of the Heart Chalice—tuned to the $F$ note and the 'Flower of Life' frequency—paired with the shimmering cascade of the Rain Pillar and the ethereal song of Koshi chimes."

Note: All instruments, including the Heart Chalice and crystal bowls, are specifically tuned to heart-centered ($F$ note) and solar frequencies to facilitate a deep state of resonance and renewal.

The Ritual of the Sun-Stone

To help you carry the benefits of the session home, each participant will be gifted a hand-selected Tiger’s Eye stone.

Throughout the journey, you’re invited to use this stone as a physical anchor. You will be guided to visualize the stone's golden light as a source of personal vitality, helping you ground your energy while your mind finds its natural state of clarity and strength. The stone then serves as a simple, tangible reminder of the vitality you cultivated during the session, something you can keep on your nightstand or in your pocket as you move into the new season.

Who is this for? This event is for anyone feeling the "winter fog," those looking to reclaim their sense of confidence and energy, or anyone who simply needs a dedicated hour of restorative non-doing in a sacred space.

What to Bring: To maximize your comfort, please bring your "nest"—pillows, heavy blankets, or anything else that makes you feel fully supported. Hippie Soul will also provide blankets, bolsters, and extra mats for your convenience.

Note: No prior experience with yoga or sound healing is necessary. Come exactly as you are. To make sure your journey is as comfortable and supportive as possible, please let Kristen know if you are pregnant or have a pacemaker or medical metal implants. Because sound is a physical vibration, we want to ensure we tailor the experience perfectly for you. As always, if you have any health concerns, a quick chat with your doctor is a great way to prepare for your session.
