Sammy Conrad, RYT-200

Sammy is a Colorado based yoga instructor + freelancer who is passionate about making yoga accessible for everyone. Sammy first discovered yoga in college alongside obtaining her degree in Graphic Design + Social Media/Digital Strategy, at Columbia College Chicago. She was immediately drawn to yoga’s forgiveness and mindfulness after growing up in the competitive dance world. She completed her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training in college at Yoga Six in the South Loop of Chicago and made wonderful connections with other yogi’s alongside changing the trajectory of her life. She strives to remain a student at heart and has since completed a Trauma Informed Yoga Training through Prison Yoga Chicago + Yoga Behind Bars, and more recently completed her Doula Training. Her Fertility and Pregnancy Loss Doula services now heavily incorporate yoga as a means of healing and self-love.

Sammy's favorite kinds of classes to teach are Vinyasa based yoga and powerful, challenging flows to challenge the body and build resiliency. She will forever be fascinated by the healing aspects of yoga, including the fact that the same sections of the brain that shut down after someone experiences grief or trauma, light back up and are reactivated by mindful movement. Sammy’s goal is to safely guide students in a way that allows them to explore their own practice more deeply and heal through the power of yoga.

Sarah Martin, ERYT-200

Yoga Teacher

Sarah fell in love with yoga in 2005 when a new studio was opening downtown and one of the studio owners came to Starbucks where she worked. It didn't take but a few classes for her to feel the physical effects the practice could offer. More importantly after a few months she began to notice a subtle but profound shift in her mental state- she was able to concentrate more on her studies and didn't feel as frazzled by the day to day challenges she faced as a full time student.

In 2008 Sarah took a yoga training and began teaching at the UCCS Recreation Center- she hasn't looked back.

Being both a student and teacher has consistently fed her soul. This became especially apparent after she stepped back in to teach following the COVID shutdowns. Now more than ever Sarah leans into her own practice and feels incredibly grateful to guide others in theirs.

Sarah is an EYRT-200 teacher, certified Warriors at Ease teacher, and Level1 IRest certified. In addition to teaching in the studio, she teaches veteran programs facilitated through Wounded Warrior Project.

Iantha-lee.jpeg

Iantha Lee

Barre Teacher

Iantha began teaching fitness classes 17 years ago. Her main goal at the time was creating athletic cross training classes to support obstacles racing. She realized flexibility and strength are two key foundations to racing, recovery and living a healthy lifestyle. She started teaching Barre to help with coordination, flexibility and core strength. There is so much joy in movement; Barre is a fun way to share it. She teaches an athletic Barre and loves that it targets specific muscle groups and enables all of us to be stronger versions of ourselves.

Outside of the studio, she is an animal (dogs, cat and snake oh my!) mom, wife, engineer and obstacle racer. Summer is her favorite time of the year in Colorado. She loves the long days and warm night to spend time outdoors.
