Tracey Garcia, E-RYT 500, CPYT, CCYT, YACEP

Teacher Owner

Tracey is a natural teacher who meets students where they are and supports them in both accepting modifications while continuing to challenge themselves. As an experienced teacher both in the classroom and the studio, she is uniquely poised to teach in such a way that all students can benefit from their yoga practice. She teachers beginners to advanced students to include children, adults, special needs and seniors. She strives to teach yoga in such a way that the practice is healthy and physically sustainable, allowing it to be a lifelong tool for growth, health and curiosity and expansion!

As a lifelong learner herself, she is proud to have completed her Advanced Yoga Teacher Training with Gina Caputo through the Colorado School of Yoga.

Tracey believes that your yoga practice can be your best tool to remember your wholeness, connectivity and most true self, which allows you to be in more satisfying relationships and live your most authentic life!

Marchelle Elliott, E-RYT 200, RYT 500

Yoga Teacher

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Marchelle's fitness career began in 1992. She began teaching yoga in 2007 but her yoga practice did not commence until 2011. 


Marchelle's approach to yoga teaching is light-hearted and fun. While having studied several styles of yoga, you will find that she is most connected to Vinyasa Yoga. From Gentle Yoga to Power Yoga, you will always leave her class feeling nurtured and grounded in the breath and movement of the class.  She believes that yoga is for anybody and any body.


Marchelle is very passionate about healthy living inside and out.  When she isn't teaching Yoga, you can find her teaching Indoor Cycling or enjoying home workouts. Outside of fitness, she is a proud mom of three beautiful, athletic children and adored wife of her retired Navy husband of more than 26 years.

Danielle Tortorice, RYT 500

Yoga Teacher

Danielle discovered yoga in college when she signed up for a hatha yoga series to fulfill a physical education requirement.  Danielle was hooked, and she welcomed the healing journey that yoga took her on.  


In 2010, she committed to a daily, regular yoga practice. By 2014 she was ready to take her journey to a new level, and signed up for teacher training with Meg Galazra, owner of YogaOne studio, located in Cedarburg, WI.  It was through teacher training that Danielle discovered a love for the dynamic movements of vinyasa flow, and an appreciation of the relaxing benefits of restorative yin yoga. In 2017 Danielle completed her advanced yoga teacher training with the fearless Gina Caputo, director of The Colorado School of Yoga. In 2018 she went on to take trauma informed training with Comeback Yoga and Warriors at Ease, both non profit organizations who serve the military population.  


Currently, she is proud to offer yoga classes at Fort Carson army base.

Sarah Hogan, ERYT-200, RYT-500, YACEP

Yoga Teacher

Sarah stumbled upon yoga twenty five years ago.  Once found, the practice became a passion and a way back to herself during seasons of challenge . She has spent time training and instructing in trauma-informed, restorative, vinyasa and neurogenic tremoring yoga practices.  Sarah recently continued her learning journey, completing a 500 with Jason Crandell Yoga Method.

 

Sarah offers expertise, experience and centering to her classes. Her focus is on getting you to move from the big picture, to a more nuanced experience in your body, and to leave class with a well regulated nervous system. She is thrilled to share what she loves, emphasizing safe movement, gentle breath and patient attention. She endeavors to provide you the opportunity to identify truth in your body and to feel companioned in your practice. Besides being a yogi, Sarah is a boy mom, dog trainer, naturalist, cinephile and pickleballer.

Amy Day, RYT-200

Yoga Teacher

Amy came to yoga to find relief from back pain in 2002. She has stayed with yoga because when she practices, she come home to herself. She has made yoga and somatic practices her life's work because she finds the intersection of breath, movement and meditation powerfully integrative and transformative. She feels honor and joy in practicing and journeying together!

 

She has been teaching gentle, trauma - informed yoga since 2010. Amy has taught playful preschoolers and mindful middle schoolers, chair yoga in retirement centers and breathwork with precious people well into their nineties, and every age and stage of life in between! When she is not practicing or offering yoga, she has her nose in a book, is walking in the woods, or with her brilliant best friend and husband of 24 years and their three amazing sons!

Katie Derbeck, RYT-200

Yoga Teacher

Katie is a 6 year ACE Certified Personal Trainer and a 200 hour, Colorado based yoga teacher. In her offered practices she encourages exploration on the mat, encompasses the five major spinal movements and meets her students on their journey. No matter where you are at on your yoga voyage, Katie supports the YOU right now. Yoga allows for self acceptance, enhances peace in the mind and body and encourages COMMUNITY.

Abby Housefield, RYT 200

Yoga Teacher

As an avid runner, Abby started practicing yoga over 9 years ago for injury prevention and cross training but quickly discovered yoga was much more than just stretching. It didn’t take long for her to fall in love with the practice and the “whole being” transformation that came with it. Abby is trained in Integrative Vinyasa and loves to teach intelligently design sequences that invite your mind and body to explore new ideas and possibilities while building strength, flexibility and mobility. Abby’s heart for each of her classes is to hold space for you to recalibrate, refresh and discover your strength, confidence and clarity. Off the mat, Abby’s hippie soul shine bright with her love for gardening, kombucha making and homeschooling.

Iantha Lee

Barre and Fitness Teacher

Iantha began teaching fitness classes 17 years ago. Her main goal at the time was creating athletic cross training classes to support obstacles racing. She realized flexibility and strength are two key foundations to racing, recovery and living a healthy lifestyle. She started teaching Barre to help with coordination, flexibility and core strength. There is so much joy in movement; Barre is a fun way to share it. She teaches an athletic Barre and loves that it targets specific muscle groups and enables all of us to be stronger versions of ourselves.

 

Outside of the studio, she is an animal (dogs, cat and snake oh my!) mom, wife, engineer and obstacle racer. Summer is her favorite time of the year in Colorado. She loves the long days and warm night to spend time outdoors.

Tina Huelle, RYT-200

Yoga Teacher

Tina discovered yoga seven years ago after attending a class taught by Tracey Garcia. She went on to earn her yoga teacher certification through the Colorado School of Yoga and is trained in Integrated Vinyasa. She believes that yoga is a practice for everyone, and she enjoys crafting thoughtful and playful classes that leave students feeling rejuvenated and reconnected to their most authentic selves. Tina’s approach to teaching is free-spirited and fun! Off the mat, Tina is a busy mom of four. You can find her running, hiking, or on her stand-up paddle board in her free time.

Shauna Nahorniak, RYT-200

Yoga Teacher

Shauna has been flirting with a Yoga practice since the early 2000’s. She loved the physical and mental aspects of yoga but, due to countless military moves, found it difficult to maintain a consistent practice. Moving to Falcon in 2012, she continued her search for a home for yoga.

After taking a yoga class at JAKs Brewhouse with Tracey Garcia, she knew she had found the style of yoga that fed her soul. Wanting, to deepen her knowledge of yoga, she completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training offered by Tracey Garcia through Colorado School of Yoga in June of 2020. She has also recently completed additional training in restorative yoga.

 

Shauna believes that yoga is for everyone and EVERYONE can benefit from yoga. She has encouraged her husband and three children to develop yoga practices of their own. She enjoys crafting classes that focus on building strength while bringing awareness to the stress relieving qualities of breath work. Off of the mat, Shauna enjoys kettlebells, pilates, working in her yard and reading.

Bobae Barnes, RYT-500

Yoga Teacher

Bobae is a Yoga teacher and practitioner. She was born and grew up in South Korea.  She was always very energetic and anxious as a teenager, however she learned how to relax at her first Yoga class in college. Ever since her first shoulder roll with breath and the deep relaxation, her life was planned around Yoga practices. She felt healed each time she took her yoga classes. In 2017 her first inversion experience made her decide to become a Yoga teacher.  She has been trained through 500 Yoga Teacher Training and Aerial Yoga Teacher Training. She hopes her students feel relaxed and healed with her classes.

 

She is an artist, lover of nature, and business owner with a mission to rescue animals.

Penelope Persson, RYT 500

Penelopes yoga and meditation journey started over 20 years ago with self practice. In 2017 she went to Thailand to take her first Yin yoga course and has been dedicated to learn more about yoga every day and she has been teaching with joy and compassion since her first course.

Penelope's mission here in life is to inspire and guide people like you, to find their way to living a more balanced life.

In Penelope's teaching of yoga and meditation there is created space for you, to discover your inner voice and truth, so that you can soften your breath, open and deepen your practice. She teaches both yoga and meditation from her heart and she wishes to share the wisdom she has learned throughout her own journey, for you to take home.
